The increasing movement towards growth and development, with the benefit of advanced technologies at the level of the oil industry, is progressing unimaginably. The aim of this research is to optimize the mechanism of sustainable production based on the risks of the oil industry supply chain based on ranking and fuzzy intuitionistic analysis. This study is considered to be a developmental and mixed methodology that relies on systematic content screening processes to identify the dimensions of the phenomenon under study. Then, with the aim of evaluating theoretical consensus, fuzzy Delphi analysis is used to measure the reliability of the identified dimensions. Interpretive ranking and fuzzy intuitionistic analyses have also been used in the quantitative part. The participants in the qualitative part were 12 specialists and experts in the field of industrial management at the university level, and in the quantitative part, the participation of 25 managers of the subsidiaries of the Ministry of Oil who had both knowledge and experience was used. The basis for selecting the sample was the use of the homogeneous method. The results of the qualitative part of the research indicate the determination of 6 dimensions for measuring the optimization of sustainable production and 5 dimensions for assessing supply chain risk. The results of the quantitative part of the research showed that the most influential basis for decision, namely the optimization of production from green supply chain risk, is the basis of ecological positioning, climate and industrial ecosystem, which makes achieving sustainability of oil companies more challenging.
